COVID-19

COVID-19 brought many changes to our world, and dental care has changed a little, too. You’ll notice a few differences when you visit, but the care you receive won’t be one of them. Here are a few things you’ll see to meet current guidelines:

• We will contact you prior to your appointment and ask a series of questions. We’ll repeat those when you arrive.
• By state regulation, face coverings or masks are required to enter the office.
• Hand sanitizer is readily available.
• Temperature checks help us screen everyone.
• We’re using some new protective gear.
• If you’re not feeling well, we’ll help you reschedule.
• Guests accompanying patients will be asked to remain in their car.
• Magazines, toys, and refreshments have been removed from the waiting area for now.

There are also a few things behind the scenes that might not stand out. Just a few include:

• Added cleaning and disinfection of public spaces.
• Continued strict sterilization monitoring.
• More training than required on protective measures
• Additional time for appointments and preparation of treatment areas between patients.
• A new central HVAC system with UV anti-viral PureAir filtration
